Words by Length
Pick a word length. Every length gets two pages: a browse list to read, and a finder for making words of that length from your own tiles.
Choosing a word length
Length is the most common way people search for words, from the two- and three-letter fillers that rescue a tight board to the seven-plus-letter plays that clear a rack.
Short words, 2 to 4 letters
Essential for cramped board spots and for playing parallel to an existing word, where one short play scores every crossing at once. There are only 126 two-letter words — few enough to memorise, and the fastest way to raise your average score.
Long words, 7 letters and up
These reach the bonus squares and, in Scrabble, earn the 50-point bingo for using all seven tiles. They are also where the dictionary is deepest: there are more 9-letter words than words of any other length.
Two pages per length
Each length has a browse list — every word of that length, alphabetical, with its Scrabble score — and a word finder locked to that length, which keeps only the words your own tiles can build.
