How to enter your grid

Type or paste one row of letters per line, exactly as the puzzle prints them. Spaces are ignored, so ABCDE and A B C D E both work. Rows do not have to be the same length — a ragged grid is scanned correctly.

What gets searched

Every square is used as a starting point and every one of the eight directions is followed — across, back, up, down and the four diagonals. That is the same set of directions a printed word search uses, so nothing legal is missed.

Why the minimum length matters

Any grid of letters contains dozens of accidental two- and three-letter words. The minimum is set to four so the real answers are not buried; lower it when a puzzle genuinely uses short words, and raise it when you only care about the long ones.
